I highly recommend it.Īnother aircraft that I bought and really like is the RWDesigns DHC-6 Twin Otter. It is by far the best-modelled aircraft that I have and the X-Plane add-on that I fly the most. Both are compatible with the VATSIM and IVAO multiplayer environments, if you want to immerse yourself in traffic, communications and procedures. I click on the buy now button but nothing happens. ( Gardener, champion duck breeder and steel alloy production analyst. I do like the clickable cockpits and "everything actually works" thingy. and can I get a simple map that does not need super computer to run? I know this might read like the usual Planky spam tm but I really need to find a sim that has "other" planes to fly and is new. ( slow flying with too much gear into the back of beyond for a BBQ.) Particularly either sport/aerobatics or vintage antics? Is X-plane good for high quality flight models? There seems to be a few distributors of interesting looking machines. Just don't move your head so much old chap. Tried to get rid of slugs but no real joy. BUT when you pause the flight the head tracking still works.

Head tracking was working using Free track but was a tad sluggish. Managed a few wing overs sans rudder and throttle. ( Actual life size joystick was over near the window so I had to reach over on an awkward angle to fly.) Pretty sure antenna's were whacking the under carriage.
Managed to take off without flying directly into the airport. Had to sort of skew my leg over to the ruder bar that was actually put out of reach. Took off in a free plane on the demo version of X - Plane. I am typing this while under the influence of a really good cup of coco.
